If you cannot keep them for any reason they must be returned to us, whether it is 10 days or 10 years, we do not care we want them back.  Adoption donations are nonrefundable unless there’s an undiagnosed life-threatening medical condition, then you may return them for a full refund. They have to go to the vet within the first two weeks of adoption. Although we have dewormed them, it is not uncommon for them to need to need it more than once, so we do recommend you bring a stool sample with you to your first appointment. We have two rescue partner veterinarians that we regularly work with who will give you half off your initial exam fee. One is Mattydale Animal Hospital and the other is Upstate Animal Clinic in Cazenovia.

DOGS

Typically they are 650 cash, certified check or money order because they are not through the business.  We realize this is a larger donation, however we have no state funding like shelters do.  That being said, dogs do come to you fully vetted.  They have been fixed, given distemper, bordetella, rabies, heartworm tested, de-wormed, on prevention for heartworm, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites and microchipped.  Additionally we have paid for the microchip registration for life.

CATS
